MUA Pro-Base Prime & Conceal

Colour Correcting

Since I have started blogging I've slowly been getting used to trying new things and since I started using make up all I have been doing is putting my foundation on without correcting the redness or covering the dark circles I always have under my eyes, normally using concealer as my go to. Doing some research I found the colour are used for different things like:
The green and yellow corrects redness, the purple corrects yellow, orange corrects blue and the middle is a perfect concealer colour. Picking MUA as I have used and liked their products before I chose the Pro-Base Prime & Conceal palette as it has the colours I need to hide the redness and the blue tinge to the circles under my eyes and it was only $4 so is a good starting kit to try colour correcting. It is buttery to the touch and easily melts away any colour on the face and stays there. I went over it with a damp beauty blender just to make sure it has gone into the skin properly before using my L'Oreal Infallible foundation in the shade Porcelain as it is the perfect shade for my skin. I have never seen my skin look so flawless before and I love using this! It does take a bit of time but it is worth it especially for a night out!. If you have any tips for using colour correcting then please let me know in the comments down below! I am going to find some other colour correcting palettes with more of a range when I get the hang of using colour correctors.

You can find this palette at any Superdrug store or on:

Birchbox April - Which Products I got, Reviews and Which I Would Buy Again

April Birchbox

Birchbox Boden Box

This months Birchbox they collabed with Boden for 'The Bold and the Beautiful' box. First of all I am so happy they brought the draw design back after than one off box which doesn't match my collection at all! then the print for the box is so pretty, it is perfect for Spring time and looks really striking when I'm looking for that month in particular. The products I got inside the draw are amazing too from Nip + Fab to Polaar to Manna Kadar Beauty. This is the first colour corrector I have tried as well and it is affordable to buy again

or try different colours. This month we got to choose between Manna Kadar Cosmetics Radiance Split Pan Bronzer and Highlighter Duo or High Definition Powder for a full size product and I chose the High Definition Powder as having oily skin I really need a good mattifying powder to keep the oil away and to stop it from ruining my make up when I can't do any top ups or so I don't need to at all and I was really impressed with everything Birchbox has sent to me this month.
The first product I want to talk about is Nip + Fab Colour Corrector in the shade 02 Banana to illuminate my skin. I use it the top of my cheek bones then going down my nose and under my eyes to really illuminate them and make them stand out. I love the applicator which is a brush to cut steps out and make it easier to do it on the go or do it in a rush. The formula is really creamy and pigmented and once it dries down it does not budge at all. This being my first attempt at any type of colour correcting I loved it and would definitely buy different shades in the future as it is only $8.95 per tube what is a bargain!

The next product I wanted to try out was Baija Paris Creme Moana in Fleur de Tiare that first of all smells amazing! and makes your skin feel baby soft. I love the packaging and the design they have put on the tube, it really stands out from everything else in the draws and in your make up bag (if you carry it around like I have been) I love how nourishing it is on my skin especially now it is starting to warm up! It smells like cotton candy mixed with a floral scent which you can smell hours after you've put it on. The size for this sample is large enough to last the whole month as well which is great as last months box had some really small samples in it. 'A blend of shea and cupuacu butter (protects and nourishes hair and skin), coconut oil, jojoba wax' which creates the sweet smell and makes it so nice on the skin. They do recommend to use this on dry patches but I use it where ever, mostly on my tattoos as it contains such nice ingredients which make them really pop even thought I have had some for years. When I do reach the end of the sample I will definitely be buying it again as it is only $15.90 for the full size!

Next of course I had to try the Manna Kadar Cosmetics High Definition Powder for my oily t-zone. I really liked the pattern they have imprinted on the powder surface as it actually helps the brush pick up just the right amount of the powder without almost drowning yourself in it. It's about the skin of a single eye shadow pot which makes it portable but I was a little shocked at the price as this is a full size version which would cost $27! I can easily see why though the formula is really nice, it feels soft on the skin and I didn't see any oil coming through or breaking up my foundation at all when I was wearing it. I haven't heard of the make up brand before and looking on the Birchbox website (it is a Birchbox exclusive) they only have the two choices and an eye shadow palette which is mostly nude shades. I will try and hunt down more from this brand to do a blog post on them as I really like this powder and I think personally if you do suffer from oily skin or just want to fight away signs of the heat that this is a must have for summer this year! It may be pricey but you can see why it is! Hopefully I will save enough Birchbox points to buy another when this one runs out!
This months body wash is a very delicate one from the brand Polaar called the IcePure Gentle Scrub with Arctic Cotton. Now this is another new brand to me from this months box but since the first time I smelt it I loved it and looked into where I can buy more and if there are different scents. To start off with the biggest question...what is Arctic Cotton? Arctic Cotton is a powerhouse ingredient known for the moisturising properties which double acts for exfoliating both smooths and softens the skin. I used this first on my face when I was having my exfoliation day and loved it! I then used it in the shower when my skin was feeling a little dry instead of the Lush exfoliation bar and found it works just as good and the smell stays on your skin for hours after you've showered making me feel clean all day! As far as sample sizes go I think they've done a really great job with the amount they've gave out (25 ml) as I have used it for at least 3 weeks now every now and then and it hasn't really gone down at all meaning I don't need to save it for a special occasion like some of the products I get without having to worry that it is a one time thing or that I will love it and it will be really expensive. Price wise is quite affordable at $23.50 it will last months.
The last product I got from this months box is one from Oribe, another brand I haven't used before or heard of. I was expecting some type of hair product as that is what I tend to get in each box so I opened it half expecting another dry shampoo and was delighted to see a Dry Texturizing Spray inside! The packaging again for this product looks really nice with a fair size for a sample that is. I used it right away before realising that it is half dry shampoo half texturizing spray so the next time I used it I made sure it was a bad hair day or when I broke my routine and my hair got a little greasier. It is a good spray, it did make my hair more poofy and less greasy but over all I have tried so many products like this they are all starting to seem the same to me. This was the only product out of the whole box that I probably wouldn't buy again as I am starting to almost stock pile them now. If you are looking for a new dry shampoo mixed with texturizing spray I will say it is nice but for $20 I won't be buying it again.

Birchbox March - Products I got, Reviews and Which I Would Buy Again

March Birchbox

This months Birchbox I had been really excited to get my hands on as I had seen all the advertisement of the products coming up in this months box on the Birchbox Instagram account. In the advertisement they said everyone will get to pick either Lusty Rose or Fuschia Fever Benefit They're Real! Double the Lip. I love Benefit products so I am really excited to have this sample of it and them selling the large sizes on their website with more shades than the two sample ones. The packaging to start off with is different from the usual pink as well which is unique and nice.

The packaging isn't the only thing what is different about this months box either, the usual draw with unique design is different as well this one coming in a box instead and you receive a draw string bag as well to keep make up in or whatever you want. Not only is there Benefit in it but also Bobbi Brown, Batiste, Korres and balanceme so it really is worth the money again like it has been the past few months. I am yet to be disappointed with any of the Birchboxes I've received so hopefully I'll like everything in this months box like I have the past few! It is a shame they haven't stuck to the draw design though as it looks out of place with the other ones and it is much more plain in the design than the others.

To start off with I used the Benefit They're Real! Double the Lip in the shade Lusty Rose as I have been highly anticipated it and couldn't wait to use it and see if I love it as much as I do the other products I have from them. To start off with the shape is really unique compared the other lipsticks I own as it is in a tear drop shape with the liner having the point to the shape and the regular lipstick having the more bubbled underneath. It is a really easy shape to use compared to the other lipsticks as you can get precision for your lip shape, I have quite thin lips and normally lipstick goes off my lip shape quite a bit so with this lipstick I can actually follow the shape of my lip really easily which is great. The packaging looks like the other products I have with the shape and the colours they've used which is nice and it feels expensive like the other products do. I really love the colour and having the two different shades which blend really well together on your lips and having the bottom to wind the lipstick up and down instead of the top. Since I've been using it non stop and it has earned its way permanently in my make up bag I will defiantly be buying it again in the same shade and Flame Game.

Birchbox Breakdown; What sets this lipstick apart from the rest? It works as both a lip liner shade and a lipstick colour - helping you to save space in your make up bag! Once you've tried the custom teardrop tip, specially shaped for precise application, you'll be in love with this semi-matte formula - it defines your lips beautifully for a plump and visibly fuller pout. Oh, and it contains lanolin oil for a comfortable finish that lasts up to 8 hours!

I've got a lot of primers so to get another one I was a bit excited to test it out compared to the others I've got. Testing on my hand a little I could tell already the smell is very over powering like perfume which I am not keen on especially as it will go minimum of my t-zone if not all over my face. I haven't heard much from balanceme before receiving this in my Birchbox and using it, it did the job well making my make up stay in place and not budge but the smell was still very over powering and it felt slightly sticky when spreading on my face with my fingers. Over all it does it's job but like I said I wasn't keen on the smell and I still prefer my Benefit Porefessional over it. It might just be my opinion on it so if you have tried this and liked it or had a different experience to mine then let me know in the comments or on Twitter or Instagram. The full size costs $22 from the Birchbox shop and a little goes a long way with this primer as I only used a pea size blob to cover the whole of my face apart from a little more for the tip of my nose and chin where my make up normally fades the fastest.

Pretty much every month's box I receive a shower gel so I constantly have a supply! This month is by the brand Korres, an award-winning Greek brand for all-natural body care. Not only does it smell fantastic but it makes my skin feel baby soft after every use. The sample size is large enough to last me all month as well which is good, however when it does run out not only can you get it on the Birchbox website but you can find it at M&S as well! If you're looking for a all natural shower gel then I would highly recommend buying this! The full size is only $8 from the Birchbox website or from M&S so you can order it or find it in your local shop!

I try to look after my skin as much as I can with weekly face masks or sheets so when I got the Bobbi Brown face masks samples of Radiance Boost (white), Skin Nourish (pink) and Instant Detox (grey) I was really excited to try them out as they are quite expensive ($33 per regular size tube). As the tubes are quite small I used a foundation brush so I could use it just on the different points of my face what needed it so it would work the best for my skin. Radiance Boost I used on the dull parts of my face, it doesn't smell like anything but feels amazing like the other ones do, the little beads seem to melt away and it dries fast like the rest do. Skin Nourish I used on the harder parts of skin to soft them up slightly, I did get a little of a smell from this one but it just smelt almost like freshly cut grass which was really nice. Last of all was the Instant Detox I used on my pores mostly to clear them out, this was my favourite out of all of them as it not only smells amazing but it really worked. If I could ever afford to buy a large bottle of this then I would go for the Instant Detox. There was only enough for one test of it which is unfortunate but I could see with the product price why the samples are so small.

Most months I get something to do with my hair and this time it was another one from Batiste. I do like their products as they always smell fantastic and do what they say on the can but when I had black hair it would always turn it grey, but since I have dyed my hair back to a natural colour (if platinum roots count) I have tried it again and really liked it! It makes my hair smell amazing and it works really well with my hair now unlike before so if you do have really dark hair then I wouldn't recommend it but if you have light hair then it works perfect.

Drug Store Foundations For Pale Skin

Battle Of The Drug Store Foundations

Finding a decent foundation at a reasonable price is a struggle, hunting through Superdrug or any high street shop for a shade what will match your skin tone, type and the right coverage for you is a long process. I've had foundations which made me break out, made me tinged orange and made me as white as a sheet of paper. It's not easy wanting to save money and not spend in the $30s' for a bottle which will last around a two or more months at the maximum so this will be a review of the foundations I have found actually suit my pale skin for a reasonable price.

To start this off I'll go with the cheapest foundation then work my way to the most expensive out of the four favourites I've found out of my years of searching.

E.L.F Flawless Foundation

I brought this foundation when I was doing the full face of make up for $20 blog post but I did notice this had amazing reviews and I can see why! The formula is creamy but lightweight with full coverage. It is a little yellow compared to the other shades I have found but if you use the Silisponge you can even it out with using less product and blending it in right. As I have oily skin I am careful about what foundations I buy as not only do I want the colour to be perfect but I want to fight off the a make up meltdown or making me look even more oily but this seems to fight it off. Not only does it last long and suit my skin but it also has SPF 15 Sunscreen so will be perfect for summer without having to mix sun cream in separately. This is only $7.50 on the website and hopefully they will have a stand in Superdrug soon!.

Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Foundation

I brought this foundation when I was struggling with break outs and I wanted to find something to help with it and so I could wear foundation all the time without suffering. The shade is slightly orange but with blending it evens out to my skin tone. The lightest shade they have is Light Beige which is a shame, but luckily it is close enough to my shade. It says better looking skin in 3 weeks but you can tell the difference within the first day of applying it, if you use it every day then you will notice it does really help if you are struggling like I was at the point of using it. This amazing foundation only costs around $7-$8 at Superdrug.

L'Oreal Infallible 24H Foundation

Out of all of the foundations I have brought this has to be the most accurate to my shade, it is a little white but with a bit of bronzer you don't notice the difference. It is full coverage but light weight, doesn't oxidise at all throughout the day and stays really well. L'Oreal really did a good job with this foundation, it doesn't say anything to do with skin care but it doesn't break me out at all. It says on the tube it helps prevent meltdowns and I don't see any oil patches which is great. For only $10 as well it is very affordable whenever you run out.

Revlon Colour Stay Foundation

Revlon was a brand I looked for when I was in the middle of my hunt and fell in love with but I did found it made me look the palest and as it has pink undertones I found it made my face look flushed all the time. But if you do have pink undertones on your skin then this would be perfect for you. It is lightweight, full coverage and a perfect one for summer as it leaves your skin feeling soft and has SPF 20 for the sunny days. This is the most expensive out of all of them but I can see why, the formula is rich and feels amazing and the coverage is amazing. You can easily find it at Superdrug for $12.99.

If you've found any foundations you find suit pale skin or just love then let me know in the comments! I hope this helps you on your hunt for your perfect shade!

UK Drug Store Brands - Which I Recommend and Little Reviews

UK Drug Store Brands

MUA

As you might of read I discovered this brand when I started doing the full face of make up for $20 and since then I use most products at least once a week if not every other day. Prices for this brand range from $1 to $15 from Superdrug and they have everything from liners to lipsticks, foundation to eyeshadow and nail polish to highlighter all for a very affordable price. My top recommendations from this brand; the Lift & Curl Mascara as it perfectly separates and coats lashes from root to tip giving a defined long look which stays on all day. If you do get the mascara I would recommend buying some good make up remover as it is hard to get it all off with a baby wipe or in the shower. Personally I love the highlighting powders they have as one swipe over the pan picks up a very glowing colour which stays on all day. I can't count the amount of compliments I have got on the glow I get from this brands highlighter - I even find it better than some more expensive brands I own and for only $3!. A recent favourite is the Pro Base Prime & Conceal Palette which the first colour correcting palette I have brought, I find it really easy to work with especially for beginners as the formula is so creamy and easy to build with, I highly recommend this if you want to try colour correcting as it is only $4 and feels amazing on the skin.

E.L.F

E.L.F is another brand I found through doing the full face for $20 blog posts, they don't have a stand in the UK that I know of so far so I did have to order it online but I am going to add it in as I heard rumours of them being added to Superdrug soon. Prices range from less than $1 to $70 (normally sets) but everything is really good quality. My favourite items from this brand are the Flawless Finish Foundation which is similar to L'Oreal 24H Infallible Foundation for half the price! then of course the eye shadow set I brought is perfect make up bag size, having three smaller ones split in two is a great way to save space then the make up brush is soft and easy to use for packing on the colour. I really hope they do get a stand in Superdrug to make it easier to buy and then you'll be able to test out shades etc instead of guessing.

Make Up Revolution

Make Up Revolution was the first brand I brought a highlighter from and since then I have been hooked, the products are very reasonably priced around $2 to $15 from Superdrug, the eyeshadow palette formula is buttery with only a little fall out but it's not enough to notice really and they have lots of different styles of palettes (even a neon one!) so they are good to experiment with or just get some base colours like I did with my palette. The highlighters are amazing but you do have to get a lot of product on the brush to get any pigment pay out and it is more of a glitter highlighter than a natural look. The newest products I brought from them were the Retro Luxe Lip Kits what I did a review on and loved them! The metallic ones are really pigmented and perfect for festivals and the mattes are long lasting easily passing my eat and drink test. This is an amazing brand with really nice products which are as good as the higher end brands!

Maybelline

Maybelline was one of the first brands I started with what I still use today, they are easy to find in most stores but I mostly buy from Superdrug like I buy most of my make up from. The Better Skin foundation has helped clear up any break outs and clear my skin, the Master Ink stays on without smudging so I use it pretty much every time I wear it. The Fit Me concealer is my favourite, but they don't have many shades unfortunately same with the Matte Maker powder. If you're looking for a long lasting lipstick with a moisturising balm as the setter then you'll love the Super Stay 24 Hour Colour lipsticks they do as it lasts a whole night out with only a little smudging and doesn't dry your lips out at all. The Colosossal Volume Express Waterproof Mascara is perfect for hot days or days to the beach, perfect for holidays and is on deals most of the time in summer.

Rimmel London

Rimmel London really is a brand you can buy from anywhere from Tesco to Savers to Superdrug. Over the years I have tried pretty much all their mascaras, lipsticks and foundations but these are the products I have been using recently or have been using for a long time and haven't finished yet. Since summer is pretty much here it's time to bring out the BB cream and my personal favourite I use whenever the sun starts to come out is Rimmel Londons BB cream in Very Light as I haven't had any problems with it apart from a little orange tinge if I've put more on. The two mascaras I have I have had a few tubes of before these; the Scandal Eyes Mascara by Kate Moss and The normal Scandal Eyes Rockin' Curves as the applicator catches every lash with ease. Lipstick wise I have tried most shades but my favourites are Sugar Plum for summer season and Drop Of Sherry for winter. Nail polish wise I do like the formula but it does chip so I use it for a night out but not for if I want the colour to stay for over a week without chipping.

L'Oreal

L'Oreal are an amazing brand for all products they do, I love their foundations and mascaras most of all. The first mascara I brought from them is the Mega Volume Miss Manga Waterproof as I wanted it since I was in school and I loved it! 3 tubes later I still have at least one in my make up collection! The False Lash Sculpt mascara is good for night outs but I find the applicator wand hard to use as it has one side with bristles while the other is just hard plastic. It took me ages to get used to it but when you do it is worth it! Foundation wise this has got to be my forth bottle maybe, the Infallible 24H Stay Fresh Foundation in Poreceliane is the perfect shade for my skin, the formula is full coverage, I haven't broke out at all since I have been using it what is surprising as when I use fuller coverage then I normally battle with the break outs I get from it. As I have oily skin I find this does stop the 'meltdown' like it says on the bottle! That's why I love this brand, they do exactly what they say on the bottle and they're in the middle of budget and high end products but have a great formula like the high end  products do and you can easily find them in Boots or Superdrug.

Revlon

Revlon I found in Superdrug when I was struggling to find a foundation which suits my skin type and is the correct shade for me then I found the Colour Stay foundation for normal/dry as at the time I didn't realise I have Oily skin, I brought the shade Ivory after swatching all in store then finding a store with the shade in stock. I love the formula as you can't even feel it on your skin at all, it is lightweight yet gives full coverage and for $15 I found it to be a bargain! In the same day I thought I would try a new lipstick so I brought one of the Matte Balms in the shade Sultry and since the first time I used it I loved it, the formula is creamy, the smell is like Peppermint and the tingle on the lips made me feel more confident like it is plumping my lips slightly. The colour made my teeth look whiter and I used it every day for at least 2 months and I still have more than half a tube left as it is so pigmented so a little goes a long way. If you're getting bored of regular lipsticks or want to take some time away from liquid lipsticks then I would highly recommend using one of these, plus they have a lot of different colours to try out as well so there will be a shade for you in there!

Max Factor

I don't have a lot from Max Factor but I can say that the first eye shadow palette I brought when I wanted to try a smokey eye for the first time is the Masterpiece Nude Palette in Golden Nudes which I love! It has two mattes with the rest being shimmer which makes for a really nice going out look. I did get that while I was in Spain at their version of Superdrug, but I have seen it in Superdrug back in the UK so it is still in the list. The Creme Puff is one of the nicest powders I have but it is from the original formula which does smell like perfume which some people don't like but I find it nice smelling. I've got it in the shade 'Light N Gay' which is perfect for my skin tone but you only need a light dusting else you can go slightly orange but that might just be my skin tone or the foundation I was using at the time.

If there is any brands or products you like then drop them in the comments! I hope this has helped you finding drug store products or brands which you can easily walk down the road and buy.

Revolution Retro Luxe Lip Kit Reviews & Swatches

Revolution Retro Luxe Lip Kits

These were very an impulse buy when I was in Superdrug getting hair dye, but the packaging just drew me in and I couldn't help myself. Pricing at $6 each I bit the bullet and brought two matte and two metallic which looked more suited to my style (most were browns or reds which I have tons of!) then instantly swatched them when I got home. All come with the liquid lipstick and liner to match which is a godsend!

Grandee
Grandee
The first shade I used was 'Grandee' which they didn't have a tester for in store but the lips on the box reminded me of Koko K from Kylies Cosmetics so I thought I would try it out and if I don't get along with it then I can always save for summer. The formula is almost velvety when you put it on but soon dries down to a really nice matte colour, the pencil is obviously a perfect match and helps keep in in place without any leaks or smudging. The wand it a simple douffer but comfortable for applying the lipstick and I find this is a really nice summer shade for every day use, almost reminding me of the pink cotton candy colour. I love the rose gold lid and lettering on the pencil making it look luxurious. Trying it on my lips I found it to dry really quickly, within the 2 minute mark, so if you do go wrong you have a very short amount of time to fix it! The more I use this shade the more I actually start to like it, it really is a very nice summer pink for every day look or splash some gloss or metallic pink over the top to make it into an evening look.

Reign
Reign
Since I am trying to find some really nice summer shades I picked out another nude pink shade called 'Reign' which there wasn't a tester for either so I took a chance on it and I'm really glad I did! The formula like the previous shade is comfortable applying and on the lips while it's drying quickly. I have done the eating and drinking test with no fall out! I have to say the more I use these the more I fall in love with the formula, it stays in place all day and would be perfect for a night out! At $6 per kit they are definitely worth it! I can already tell these two shades are going to be my every day summer lipsticks for on the go and adding a little sparkle over the top for a night out!

We Rule
We Rule
Next of course is the first of the metal lip kits that I brought, 'We Rule'! This one I swatched in store before purchasing as I found it to be such a nice shade to add to my collection! I love how much it lights up when the light hits in and they really went out on the pigmentation of this shade as it holds the colour really well in just one swipe. The only thing I am going to say is that they are very sticky on the lips, I get that it is a metal and it doesn't say it will dry down what so ever on the box but as I always use matte liquid lipsticks it is hard to get used to. If you press your lips together then part them again you can see the product moving on the lips and becoming more sticky but if you bare with it then you do get used to it pretty quickly. I love that the liner is as metallic as the actual lipstick as well as I am used to them just coming on their own or with a matte pencil which is roughly the same shade so well done Revolution for upping the game on metallic lip liners!

Sovereign
Sovereign
The last out of the lip kits I brought is the metallic shade 'Sovereign' which is almost a cammo green metallic shade with gold like flakes in it. This is my least favourite out of all the lip kits I brought as it isn't as pigmented at all! I get that it is hard to get the consistency right but with the other metallic shade being so pigmented and beautiful I do feel slightly disappointed in this shade. In the photo I have 3 layers on and you can still clearly see my natural lip colour under neath. For the swatch I had to go over it for the colour to come up in the photograph. It is a nice grunge looking shade, I am saving it for Download Festival! but I don't think I would be able to pull it off on an every day basis like the other shades either! It is sticky like the other but as you have to add so much it does almost drown your lips unfortunately.

You can find them in any Superdrug store or at:

Smashbox Light It Up - Review, Products and Discount Code

Smashbox Light It Up

If you're like me and you don't like spending a lot of money on make up you're not sure you'll like then you probably go for the gift boxes to give everything a try before you purchase the larger version of it. Since I've heard such amazing things about the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer and their glosses I decided to buy the Smashbox Light It Up gloss to go set and the face, eyes and lips set as the gloss to go set offers five different colour glosses and the face, eyes and lip set has the primer I have been dying to try in it with a creme highlighter, mascara and lipstick. The face, eyes and lips set cost £25 reduced to £16.67 and the gloss to go set cost £25 as well reduced to £15.78 (out of stock now) making them a steal considering how much you get in both the sets. Looking through the website they have amazing offers on their sets including a Primer Authority set I will be buying as I've fell in love with their primers!.

Gloss To Go Set
Since I haven't used glosses since I was in primary school it was weird at first to put the almost sticky liquid on my lips after wearing matte lipsticks for so long now. I found them refreshingly moisturising considering the fact that I've been using matte lipsticks for so long and how drying of the lips they are. They lasted about 3 hours with the first coat, having to top it up after eating and drinking as it sits on top of the lips not sinking in. They have high pigmentation, for a gloss, leaving your lips looking almost the same colour as it looks in the tubes. Overall for all of them together in the set with how cheap they are I find it a really valuable kit for your collection weather you like
glosses or not as for a few natural looking make up days and over matte lipsticks for a more dramatic look these are perfect!.

Face, Eyes and Lips
If you've heard of Smashbox before you've probably heard about their primers! and boy do they have a lot of them! with prices ranging from £12.50 for a travel size and £32 for a jumbo size. In the face, eyes and lips set you get a travel size of their most popular primer, the photo finish foundation primer, which leaves your face feeling as soft as a baby and your make up can last all night without anything apart from proper make up remover. This oil-free gel primer only needs a small amount and it goes a long way, I only use around a pea size amount for my whole face focusing the most of my t zone. I've not had any break outs from having this under my make up where others I've used have clogged my pours making a few break outs happen even when I exfoliate when I come back in for the day. This is 100% one I would buy again!
The L.A. Lights Blendable Lip & Cheek Colour (Hollywood and Highlight) in the set is small enough to carry around in your clutch on a night out and packs a glowing punch! If you're more
into light reflecting dazzling highlighter then this is perfect for you! Overall I'm not keen on creme highlighters so I've gave it to my sister as she hasn't really tried highlighter before and you can blend it out really well into your make up. This one isn't something I would purchase again but if you do then it costs £25 on their website.
The Be Legendary Cream Lipstick (in the shade Legendary) is a bright festive red perfect for the Holiday season, however I don't find that it lasts as long as other brands I've tried before and smudges quite easily. I always look for long wearing, almost smudge proof lipsticks and I know this isn't a liquid so won't last as long as one and I know every regular lipstick does smudge slightly and wears off over time but I only had this on for about an hour maybe two and it was gone only leaving a smudge where my lip has touched my chin while eating. It does leave a slight stain on the lips turning them slightly pinker which is a bonus. These cost £17.50 for the full size and do have a lot of nicer shades.
The Full Exposure Mascara has got to be one of the nicest volume building mascaras I own now, the small size from the set makes it hard to use sometimes as its big, thick brush takes up most of the wand and I don't really like holding it so close to the actual wand. Over all it is nice but with the travel size of it from the kit and the face the wand is so big compared to where you hold it's not my most favourite but with the volume building it keeps a place in my make up collection. The full size version costs £19.50
